The main project:
This has been the main project. The sound has always been very important. There is no matter which is creating the sound, It has to sound good at that moment.
For long time I tried to avoid software synths. I used mostly only software sampler, since I started with sampling with Amiga. On the PC the first one was Turtle Beach soundcard which had own sample RAM (somewhere around 6Mb). Then I used Gigasampler for years and finally about 2005 I bought Native Instruments Kontakt 2. So I have used Kontakt about 20 years.
Around 2015 I started to use also software synths like Omnisphere, synths from Native Instruments and Rob Papen. The first album from that era is AmbientWorx which I used Kontakt and Omnisphere combined with hardware synths. It worked great and since then I have used that combination.
In every album I have had some new inspiration or method to make music. Album Syri was very inspirational album to make. Since I made tracks in quite short period (for me short is 1-2 years) for time, track sound good together. I usually make tracks at least 3 years before album is ready. When I made album Flow I had quite good vocal tracks so built music around them. It was really challenging.
