The project:
Project started with combination of electronic music and guitars. I just wanted something different for change. As an long time fan of progressive rock, metal and fusion, I started to try different time signatures just to challenge myself. I found it was very natural way to play. Some harder time signatures need more to get into groove more than making calculations in your head. Of course some times metronome and calculating the beats is needed.
Inherited Traits – 2019:
This was one of the enjoyable albums to make. Everything started with track I used Studio Electronics SE-1x Red Eye for bass. I thought to try the same bassline with Yamaha RBX-6JM and really enjoyed doing it. After 1,5 years I had 16 tracks to choose from. There is lot’s of synths, keyboards and different guitar-tracks. I used mostly RBX for bass but also Hard Puncher for additional lines. Guitars was done with Yamaha baritone, which was used for drop-notes, and Pacifica, which is more versatile and easier to play.
Endless Infinity – 2016:
This was long time project and is more collection than album. Oldest tracks Gates of Dawn and Shattered was made in 2005-2006 and newest one nearly 10 years later. The longest track of the album, Endless Infinity, was created pretty fast. Ideas just came from somewhere. There is many different parts. There is much more synths used in this album than the later one. You can hear Moog Voyager pretty much in every song.
